A Safe, Modern & Painless Nervous System Assessment
These nervous system scans are completely painless, non-invasive, and free of radiation, so they’re safe for everyone from newborns through seniors—even pregnant women. The scans have three components: surface electromyography (sEMG), heart rate variability (HRV), and thermal scans.
These scans look at two aspects of your nervous system: the motor part, which controls your muscles and voluntary movements, and the autonomic part, which controls involuntary functions like circulation, immune response, and how your glands and organs work.
What to Expect
With your back and neck exposed, Dr. McCann will use a handheld device that runs along either side of your spine. Your results will appear on the computer screen, and we’ll explain everything to you. We’ll also print out a copy for you and review it in more detail at your report of findings visit.
We will re-scan you periodically to ensure that you’re moving toward your goals and to help us adjust your care plan as you progress. Patients enjoy seeing the objective proof of their improvement! And we love the fact that this technology helps us get patients better quicker and more efficiently.
